A&S Cooling Mechanical Contractors opened in Runnemede in 2003 the same way most serious commercial HVAC shops do, with a walk-in cooler down mid-shift at a restaurant, an ice machine that couldn't wait until morning, and a rooftop unit short-cycling on a building with no redundancy. Jim Saleh built the company on those calls first. Residential AC tune-ups came later.
That order matters. A shop that starts with home comfort and adds commercial work as an afterthought reads differently than one built the other way. Every technician at A&S still trains on the harder problem first, VRV/VRF plant rooms, rooftop units, and refrigeration diagnostics, which is why the same crew that keeps a restaurant's walk-in running overnight is the one a Runnemede homeowner gets for a furnace repair.
Twenty-three years later, A&S runs Tristate commercial coverage across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware alongside residential service in 34 South Jersey towns. A multilingual team (English, Español, عربي) that trains on commercial refrigeration and VRV/VRF plant-room work as the harder baseline, then applies the same discipline to residential cooling and heating calls. Angel runs refrigerant diagnostics on commercial systems. Jonathan and Johnathon handle residential and light-commercial service calls. Jim still runs installs personally when the job calls for it.
A&S is an authorized Daikin dealer for both residential and commercial systems , central air, inverter heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and full VRV/VRF lineups , with up to a 12-year limited parts warranty on qualifying registered systems.
